Brussel, Belgium (Euro Trip 2011)

It was a cold morning in Brussel

In St. Michel & St. Gundula Cathedral
It's a beautiful place after all, Brussel was just so Europe, the buildings, the churches.. everything. Even I just dropped by to spend my morning there, I can still feel the beauty of the city. Worth to be visited.(But then my favest place of all is still Germany, LOL).

Future Female Version of Derek Sheperd

Have you guys watched 'Grey's Anatomy' that still keeps me crying each episode after all those episodes? if yes, then you supposedly know who is Derek Shepherd? Yeah yeah, that one. The hot and super handsome surgeon who makes ER outfits look incredibly fashionable, yes, that one. He's the best neurosurgeon in Seattle Grace Hospital, and you know what, I'm gonna be exactly like him. I'm gonna be the real and female version of McDreamy. I will. surely will.

So, here's the news : I got accepted in the best medical school in Indonesia, it feels awesome. yes, it is awesome. but what I did not know, and I clearly did not expect is how hard it is to be here.

The seniors said, first year is the best year among the six years we all have to go through to be a doctor, but then, I am here, in my first year, and I can't find what's so fun being a freshman. So, that means, the next 5 years will be so much harder than this. and this is already hard enough.

Maybe I'm not being grateful enough, as I have already defeated thousands of people out there who wanted to be in my place right now.. but you know what, I can't keep on lying saying that this is fun. this is hard.

"Each of us are the best student from our own high school, but when we're here, we feel extremely stupid," said my friend, and my other friend replied, "welcome to med school, darling."

And one of the senior said, "Well, choose one thing among all, social life, organization, or academic? you can't be greedy in med school.."

I've made my mind, and my choice, I am going to struggle at its finest to get what I want, as I've gone this far, I can't let all my hard works go to waste. So.

Welcome to medical school, future female Derek Shepherd.

Is it goodbye?

Haven't met you even once for 4 years, and yet when we meet it's not a hello, it's a goodbye. Four years ago, i said, "it's not goodbye, dude, it's till we meet again." and yep, i need 4 years to make those words come true. but, this time, it feels harder than before. because i cant seem to stand another 4 years to just meet you in person.

it's not defined yet, whether it's goodbye or till we meet again, but it wont cost me a penny even if i believe in something more optimistic. so.. lets just say, till we meet again, and dont wait like the first time. dont meet up 4 years after today, no. let's just meet whenever we want to. lets make things easier, dont wait. do something not to wait another 4 years, because waiting sucks, i shouldnt do that, you shouldnt do that, and nobody should.

A long warm friendly hug before you leave for Missouri, while saying, "till we meet again."

So, thats all for now. Lets see each other in a better form of ourselves.

This post is made for the one and only, you, SRP.

Bremen is a Fairytale, Germany, Euro Trip 2011

Do you remember how Hogwarts used to look like before the dementors appear, and Voldemort start to rule? If you remember then that's exactly how Bremen looks like. Bremen is old. Old and calm, but i don't use the word gloomy for Bremen. Bremen is a lot different from Hannover or Hamburg. Bremen is older, i guess. Or, do you guys remember the story of Hansel and Gretel? Bremen also looks like the setting of the famous child story, a lot.

I went wandering around the town that day, i've always been a big fan of christmas decorations, and since the trip to Bremen was in december, the city looked so pretty with christmas decorations, christmas trees, all over the place. I also went to the Bon Bon Factory, where we can see how the handmade sweets are made. Even for my Mom, who is a big fan of shopping, Bremen, without any fashion district, is still a good place to visit. If you're interested a lot in photography, fairytales, sweets, arts, Bremen is a good place to visit.

it looks like Hogwarts isnt it?
The santas are using Hagrid's motorcycles, LOL
 at The Hilton in Bremen
The Bon Bon Manufaktur (it's a sweets factory)

 The sculptures
 christmas cookies
 behind the beautiful cookies
 favest shop
didnt i say that Bremen is a good place to take pictures?

so, that's all for this post, hope you can get a bigger frame of how Bremen looks like, Oh, and if you get lucky, you might get the chance to take pictures with Mesut Oezil, because it's his hometown, he used to play to the club of this town before getting famous in World Cup 2006, and he still loves to take a tour to this town. If you get lucky.

Slow down, i'm still gonna post some more about my Euro Trip 2011-2012. ciao bella!

what's better than love?

have you ever feel something so deep till you cant tell what is it? it's not love. it's deeper. love is for someone you like, you adore, you're interested in. but this feeling is way much deeper. it's not only making you smile, it makes you happy. it needs no words, no date, nothing. it makes you happy as long as that other people happy. it makes you happy when you heard that they successfully achieved their targets, and you dont feel wronged by the facts that you didnt take any part in that. you dont get jealous at anything at all. thats why it's deeper than love. it doesnt need to be admitted. it doesnt need to be said. it needs nothing. it's just a feeling that grows even you and that other people are separated by miles of distance. it's not possesive. that's why it's greater than love. it is that pure, until you realize something is going to take that away. so.. it's just a feeling after all? still, it has to be better than love. it is better. it still has no boundary. it's free like the air. it's glowing like the lights. it's light like the wind. it's beautiful. even if it's not love.

Hamburg, Euro Trip 2011

I'm sorry i've been abandoning my blog lately, because i have lotta things to get done in my life. and yep it's done! I got accepted in Faculty of Medicine in University of Indonesia. i'm in the best faculty of the best university in Indonesia, isnt it awesome? hehe, i feel cool..

Well, yeppp, back to the thing i promised you, i promised you to report my last trip in Europe.

Hamburg.
Hamburg is full of spirit. Hamburg is like Vegas in Germany, you can find casinoes and strip clubs just everywhere all the way in St. Paulie. Hamburg isnt gloomy at all, Hamburg isnt like Hannover. I went to Beatleplatz, thats an irony of how there's a place like this in Germany, whilst The Beatles was once kicked out of Germany years ago, i dont know whether they can come back to this place where their names is written everywhere or not. I also went to the Hardrock Cafe in the Harbor, wheren i can find all the Legend's guitars, and signatures on the wall. I didnt get the chance to eat the biggest Hamburger in Germany at Jim Block because it was Christmas' Eve. I'll be back next time, and i will surely eat that hamburger.

 in the Harbor
 Hamburg Hauptbahnhof
 at The Beatleplatz
 The Beatles Statue in Hamburg
This makes me laugh every time i see this pic, there's this strip clube named Susis, like one of the most famous comedian's single title. if you're Indonesian, you surely know what i mean.
 in the city of Hamburg

 feeding the birds

it was christmas' eve, the city looking so pretty with all the sparkling lights

Hannover, Germany (Euro Trip 2011)

the first time i explore a land, which is a totally different place from my homeland. so cold. so smooth. so silent. so tidy. i dont know how they manage to control everything. they're so good.
i actually go here, hundred miles away from my country, took a 17 hours flight, with 20kgs luggage, not only to travel and explore new land, wander around, learn new culture, but also... i bring my own reason. i bring my dream. in this subtropic land, i'm raising my hope up, i'm making my dream high, wish i could...ehm, perhaps, will, can, make my dreams come true. i'm searching for what i've lost: motivation, possibility, and trust.
and, what i feel so far, i love myself during my stay here.

Hannover City Centre (Kröpcke)

Vahrenwalder Platz (S-Bahn)

there's a night market, usually held before the Heiligabend (Christmas Night), it is called Weihnachstmarkt . It's not only held in Hannover, but also in almost ever city all over Germany.
There was a Jazz Music Show

there's always a first time for someone to smile widely under the falling ice crystals
Mary go Round, anyone?

Weihnachstmarkt is about to begin that day
From Hannover, Germany with love
XOXO
